Byfleet and West Byfleet share KT14 and sit a short run from our base in Oatlands. We cover both for handyman work, garden maintenance and locksmithing — one person, one number, no call centre in between.
It is mostly interwar and postwar housing with decent-sized gardens, plus larger houses towards the Pyrford side. Fencing and hedging are the recurring themes, and both are the kind of job that gets put off until it has got noticeably worse.
What we get called out for
Fence panels, posts and gate repairs, which on these plots is the job that comes up most. Alongside the indoor list: flat-pack, shelves and brackets, blinds and curtain poles, doors that have stopped closing cleanly, and tiling or re-grouting where a bathroom has started to look tired.
From £60Hedge cutting and shaping, mowing and edging, borders weeded and mulched. If a garden has got away completely we will do one clearance to get it back, tell you honestly what that will take, and then keep it there on whatever rhythm you want.
From £60Lock changes, anti-snap cylinders, mortice locks on older timber doors and UPVC mechanisms that have started to stiffen. Same-day where we can, and non-destructive entry wherever the lock allows it.

Visits start at £60, which covers the first hour on site. Locksmithing starts at £90. Anything longer or anything needing parts is agreed with you before we carry on — you will not get a surprise at the end.
No. There is no separate callout charge and no travel surcharge for any of the towns we cover. The starting price is the starting price.
