Esher, Claygate, Hinchley Wood and Weston Green are all KT10 and all within a short run of our base in Oatlands. Handyman work, garden maintenance and locksmithing, with a price agreed up front rather than after the fact.
KT10 runs from period cottages near the greens through large detached houses to flats on the High Street, and the work splits accordingly. Big houses mean long hedges and heavy timber doors; flats mean fixings into walls that are not what they look like.
What we get called out for
Curtain poles and tracks in rooms with high ceilings, which needs the right ladder more than the right tools; TV brackets and mirrors on solid walls; doors that have swollen or dropped. And the general list — book a half day and we will work down it rather than booking the jobs one at a time, which costs you more.
From £60Long boundary hedges between large plots are the KT10 standard, and they go from tidy to overgrown faster than people expect after a wet summer. One clearance to get the line back, then regular visits to keep it — as often or as rarely as suits, with no contract.
From £60Heavy timber front doors with mortice locks, which want fitting properly rather than forcing; anti-snap cylinder upgrades; and lockouts, opened non-destructively wherever the lock allows so you are not paying for a door as well as a lock.
