Walton is about two miles from where we are based, which makes it one of the easiest places for us to reach at short notice. Handyman jobs, gardening and lock work, all from the same number and the same person.
A lot of KT12 is interwar semis with long, narrow back gardens — Ashley Park, the roads off Hersham Road — and then the riverside properties, which have their own problems. Fences near the water take a beating in a gale, and gates on river frontages move with the ground. Both are routine for us.
What we get called out for
Fence panels and posts after a windy week are the most common Walton callout, particularly on the riverside roads where there is nothing to break the gusts. Inside, it is the usual interwar-semi list: doors binding on the frame, shelves into chimney-breast alcoves that are never quite square, and flat-pack.

We are in Oatlands, so it is a short drive. For a lockout, call rather than use the form — a form is slower than a phone, and for a lockout that is the whole difference.
