Plots here are large, which changes the shape of most jobs. Boundaries are longer, there is usually more than one outbuilding, and gates and fencing matter more than they do on a terraced street. We quote on what is there rather than on an average.
What we get called out for
Gates that have dropped or stopped latching, fence panels and posts, and repairs around outbuildings and garden rooms. Indoors it is the same list as anywhere — flat-pack, shelves, blinds, doors — but on a bigger plot it is usually worth booking a half day and clearing several at once.
From £60Mature gardens need pruning as much as cutting: shrubs and small trees shaped rather than hacked, borders weeded and mulched, hedges topped and faced. Then leaf clearance in the autumn, which on a plot this size is a real job rather than an afternoon.
From £60Key-alike sets are worth more here than almost anywhere — one key for the front, the back, the side gate and the garage instead of a bunch you have to sort through in the dark. Plus the usual: cylinder upgrades, lock changes after a move, and same-day lockouts.

Visits start at £60, which covers the first hour on site. Locksmithing starts at £90. Anything longer or anything needing parts is agreed with you before we carry on — you will not get a surprise at the end.
No. There is no separate callout charge and no travel surcharge for any of the towns we cover. The starting price is the starting price.
